Our mission
All students have amazing potential – but we live in a world where English language speakers have better outcomes. The simplest way to create equity for ESL students and help them reach their full potential is through better access to the English language.

ESL students are fighting an uphill battle in the classroom. On top of learning the everyday lessons and keeping up academically, ESL students are expected to learn a new language at a rapid pace – or else face the consequences of not assimilating with their peers, not fully integrating into their classroom environment, and not being able to take full advantage of the benefits of education. This has ESL students starting many steps behind their peers and struggling to keep up academically and socially every step of the way.

Shared language understanding is the bare minimum that we can provide to ESL students so they may fully integrate into their classrooms, take full advantage of the academic opportunities in front of them, and go through life without the barrier of language holding them back.

English language speakers have better outcomes than non-english speakers. There is no question about capability or potential, but it is a fact that we live in a world that prioritizes English, giving English language speakers higher earning potential and better social mobility than their non-English speaking counterparts.

Gabb launched to schools in the US in 2021 to bring problem-driven, visual learning to the world language classroom. Our teachers and students were the first to learn languages in a whole new way, and now anyone in the world can too! In the Gabb platform. Users gain skills through:
